General Ideas behind the extension and screenshots

The idea of this extension is to modify the head of the TYPO3 Backend.

Typically the TYPO3 Backend looks like:

Using this extension gives you the ability to change 2 things:

Add a stylesheet to the backend

Change the Area around the logo

The result may look like:

Or you can completely add your own markup and replace the TYPO3 Logo (please add some reference to the TYPO3 project anyway):

Configuration

The configuration is quite easy and completely done in the extensionmanager. After the installation you can adjust 4 values to your needs:

The file to be used as logo (replaced with the skinning API)

An additional css file, the default one is used to make adding text possible, so please use it as base. (added via hook)

Replacement type of the markup

The markup, which is either prepended, appended, or replaces the logo. (It's included with a hook).

Having only 4 Options the Configuration is easy as:
