# Inserting content in your page template {#inserting-content-page-template}

To get the different columns from the backend displayed in the frontend
you can use predefined [CONTENT](https://docs.typo3.org/m/typo3/reference-typoscript/main/en-us/ContentObjects/Content/Index.html#cobj-content) objects or
the [DatabaseQueryProcessor](https://docs.typo3.org/m/typo3/reference-typoscript/main/en-us/DataProcessing/DatabaseQueryProcessor.html#databasequeryprocessor).

It is advised to make all your changes in a custom extension, visit the

## Based on the FLUIDTEMPLATE content object (cObj) {#inserting-content-page-template-fluidtemplate}
