## Decision description {#decision-description}

### Facts/Problem {#facts-problem}

In the GA 2025, we decided to raise the membership fees. The T3G is implementing the necessary changes in my.typo3.org

To keep the maintenance and complexity of our membership system low, I suggest maintaining the setup fee for every membership type.

Further, the old suggestion for Gold memberships had a lower price for the first year if you compare monthly payments with a yearly payment + setup fee.

The membership system should be less complex in terms of maintenance, and we should have a clear system for when to charge the setup fee for a membership.

### Financial and human resources impacts {#financial-and-human-resources-impacts}

-   By charging the setup fee on every change, we can increase our income slightly.
-   We are lowering our maintenance costs for the membership management system by having less exceptions in the code.

### Resolution/Petitum {#resolution-petitum}

1.  Implement the prices (also the monthly prices) according to the given pricelist (see attachment)
1.  Charge the Admission on every upgrade (the difference between the paid and the admission fee of the higher level will be charged)
