Decision description

Facts/Problem
-------------

Members of Teams and Committees issued interest in attending this year's TYPO3 Conference. They asked if they can be invited officially, so they can justify their absence at their primary jobs. Further the question came up if there are free tickets available.

Objective
---------

Generally our teams and committees should be represented on official TYPO3 events so they can interact with each other and the participants of the conference. I can imagine this improves feedback loops and fosters contribution as participants might be interested in joining teams. Further it demonstrates the scale and variety of our ecosystem.

Obligations to cooperate
------------------------

TYPO3 GmbH needs to provide a voucher code that can be shared. After the conference T3G bills its own costs against the Association. Team/Committee Leaders should define representatives and provide them the voucher code. It is expected that the representatives act on behalf of the project. 

Financial and human resources impacts
-------------------------------------

The own costs of the T3G for a free ticket for all three days that are billed towards the T3A are 320 € inc VAT. We don’t know how many teams will actually send representatives, but I would estimate roughly 10, so we’re talking about 3200 €.

Resolution/Petitum
------------------

In order to do so we should provide two free tickets to every team/committee for the full conference excluding the award gala. The budget #6616 Community Out Reach & Out Reach Sprints  is used to cover the costs.  Travel and accommodation should be reimbursed against the respective teams/committee’s budget.
