# `Documentation` {#extension-files-documentation}

Contains the extension documentation in ReStructuredText (ReST, .rst) format.
Read more on the topic in chapter [extension documentation](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/t3coreapi:extension-documentation@11.5).
`Documentation/` and its sub folders may contain several ReST files, images and other resources.
