## $className must implement interface `PageLayoutViewDrawItemHookInterface::class`

-   Try deleting all caches
-   Older versions: Try deleting all files in `typo3temp/autoload` through
    console.

`rm -rf typo3temp/autoload/*`

## Solution TYPO3 8.4.x and higher

> Note that the `PageLayoutView` has changed a lot in newer TYPO3 versions,
> make sure to update your code accordingly.

The way registering the hook has changed in `ext_localconf.php`:
