### Installation Overview {#installation-overview}

I am defining a setting like this:

**EXT:news/Configuration/Sets/News/settings.definitions.yaml**

```php
settings:
    news.rss.channel.description:
        label: 'Rss Channel description'
        type: string
        description: ''
```

### The Issue {#the-issue}

As the default value is missing the extension is thrown.

### Solution {#solution}

Add a default value:
