Requirements
============

*   TYPO3 12.4 LTS, 13.4 LTS or 14
    (:composer:`typo3/cms-core`, :composer:`typo3/cms-backend`,
    :composer:`typo3/cms-extbase`, :composer:`typo3/cms-fluid`)
*   PHP with the ``fileinfo`` extension (content-vs-extension detection)
*   ImageMagick or GraphicsMagick configured in
    :php:`$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['GFX']` (standard TYPO3 image processing
    setup) for MIME fix conversion, image resizing and report thumbnails
*   PHP ``imagick`` extension, **optional**: only needed to fix misnamed
    Photoshop (:file:`.psd`) files, since GraphicsMagick has no PSD decoder
*   :composer:`typo3/cms-dashboard`, **optional**: only needed for the
    dashboard widgets (they are not registered without it)

Installation with Composer
==========================

    vendor/bin/typo3 extension:setup -e filefix
    vendor/bin/typo3 cache:flush

:bash:`extension:setup` creates the database tables of the extension
(:sql:`tx_filefix_quarantine`, :sql:`tx_filefix_log`).

Installation without Composer
=============================

Install the extension with the :guilabel:`Extension Manager` from the
TYPO3 Extension Repository (TER) and update the database schema in
:guilabel:`Admin Tools > Maintenance > Analyze Database Structure`.
