# Installation {#installation}

Target group: **Administrators**

> [!NOTE]
> The extension in version release supports TYPO3 v13 LTS and TYPO3 v14 LTS.

The recommended method for installing this extension is to use [Composer](https://getcomposer.org/). In your Composer-based TYPO3 project root,
simply enter:

```bash
composer req brotkrueml/typo3-matomo-integration
```

and the recent version will be installed.

In a legacy installation you can also install the extension from the
[TYPO3 Extension Repository (TER)](https://extensions.typo3.org/extension/matomo_integration).

The extension offers some configuration options, which are explained in the
chapter [Configuration](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/brotkrueml/typo3-matomo-integration:configuration@main).
