The recommendation is the result of a research by ourself. The descriptions will be shown below the labels in the TYPO3 backend. They help editors to understand the several fields. ## Evaluation {#evaluation} ### Show evaluation in the page module {#evaluation-inpagemodule} - **Property** inPageModule - **Data type** [integer](https://docs.typo3.org/m/typo3/reference-typoscript/14.3/en-us/Syntax/StringFormats/Index.html#data-type-integer) - **Description** Show the dialog of the evaluation in the page module. (0: In the head of the page module, 1: in the footer, 2: none). Only used for evaluation. ### Max number of h2 headlines in one page {#evaluation-maxh2} - **Property** maxH2 - **Data type** [integer](https://docs.typo3.org/m/typo3/reference-typoscript/14.3/en-us/Syntax/StringFormats/Index.html#data-type-integer) - **Description** Determine how many headings h2 are allowed. Only used for evaluation. Please take also a look at the next chapter for TypoScript configurations. ## File configurations {#file-configurations} ### File Columns {#file-modfilecolumns} - **Property** modFileColumns - **Data type** [string](https://docs.typo3.org/m/typo3/reference-typoscript/14.3/en-us/Syntax/StringFormats/Index.html#data-type-string) - **Description** Comma separated list of additional sys_file_metadata columns to show in the file module. ### Exclude File Extensions {#file-excludefileextensions} - **Property** excludeFileExtensions - **Data type** [string](https://docs.typo3.org/m/typo3/reference-typoscript/14.3/en-us/Syntax/StringFormats/Index.html#data-type-string) - **Description** Comma separated list of file extensions which should not be displayed in the file module. ### Disable Char Counter {#file-disablecharcounter} - **Property** disableCharCounter - **Data type** [boolean](https://docs.typo3.org/m/typo3/reference-typoscript/14.3/en-us/Syntax/StringFormats/Index.html#data-type-boolean) - **Description** Usually, a character counter is displayed below the input field for alternative text to give editors a hint about the number of characters based on internal guidelines. You can disable this badge here. ### Disable Multiline ALT Text {#file-disablemultilinealttext} - **Property** disableMultilineAltText - **Data type** [boolean](https://docs.typo3.org/m/typo3/reference-typoscript/14.3/en-us/Syntax/StringFormats/Index.html#data-type-boolean) - **Description** When enabled (default), the ALT text field of inline image metadata (`sys_file_metadata`) is rendered as a multiline textarea in the TYPO3 backend. This makes it easier for editors to read and edit longer alternative texts without horizontal scrolling. Line breaks entered by editors are **automatically normalized to a single space** when the record is saved, so the stored value remains a single-line string suitable for the HTML `alt` attribute. The character counter (see `disableCharCounter`) is also shown for this field when both options are enabled. Set to `1` to restore the default single-line input behaviour.
