# Configuration {#configuration}

The extension has four configuration surfaces:

-   The [Site Set](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/erhaweb/klaro-consent-manager:configuration-site-set@3.0) is the recommended integration
    method for TYPO3 v13 and TYPO3 v14.
-   [Site Settings and classic TypoScript constants](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/erhaweb/klaro-consent-manager:configuration-typoscript-constants@3.0) override resource paths and selected
    feature settings.
-   [TypoScript setup](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/erhaweb/klaro-consent-manager:configuration-typoscript-setup@3.0) can filter
    services and can override selected Klaro configuration values.
-   [Global extension configuration](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/erhaweb/klaro-consent-manager:configuration-extension-configuration@3.0)
    controls trigger replacement URLs and the standalone configuration endpoint.
