# TypoScript reference {#configuration-typoscript}

The [Site Set](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/erhaweb/klaro-consent-manager:configuration-site-set@main) and the Static TypoScript Include
both load the TypoScript files from `Configuration/Sets/KlaroConsentManager/`.

Use [Site Settings](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/erhaweb/klaro-consent-manager:configuration-site-set@main) in TYPO3 v13/v14 site
configurations whenever possible. Use [classic TypoScript constants](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/erhaweb/klaro-consent-manager:configuration-typoscript-constants@main) only when the site still relies on
TypoScript records.
