# What does it do? {#introduction}

This TYPO3 extension allows the entry of external job offers by front-end users
in TYPO3 using a form. The job offers can then be checked and published through
an approval process.

Records can be created, edit and displayed in the frontend and there are a list-
and a detail view for the frontend.

Jobs can be created using TYPO3 backend accounts and also using the Form in the
Frontend. In this case you need to configure a page where the plugin is inserted
and a page where the jobs are created.

Lists, tables, tile and detailed views are available for displaying the job offers.
The following data is available for job advertisements:

- Job type: Job, Part-time job, Thesis

## Third-party icons {#third-party-icons}

The icons of this extension, the property icons of the job views as well as
the content element and the job record icon, draw the shared icons of
**academic_base**, which lists them in its own notice. They are
[Font Awesome Free](https://fontawesome.com) icons by Fonticons, Inc.,
licensed under the [Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). The extension ships no icon
file of its own apart from `Extension.svg`.

This manual shows the icon of the content elements from
`Documentation/Images/Icons/employment.svg`. It is a copy of
`Resources/Public/Icons/info/employment.svg` of
**academic_base**, the Font Awesome icon `briefcase`, drawn in a fixed
grey instead of the colour of the surrounding text, so that it reads on a light
and a dark page alike.
