# PDF export {#pdf-export}

The detail view links to a PDF version of the job. The PDF is rendered
with EXT:pdfviewhelpers ([`bithost-gmbh/pdfviewhelpers`](https://packagist.org/packages/bithost-gmbh/pdfviewhelpers)) and
opens in the browser.

## Setup {#setup}

-   The site set `jweiland/jobboard-pdf` is loaded automatically by
    the main set. It defines the page type `1575903427`
    (`pageJobboardPDF`), which renders the content element
    "Job board" with the PDF template.
-   Add the site set `bithost/pdfviewhelpers` of EXT:pdfviewhelpers
    to your site, see [Add the site sets](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/jweiland/jobboard:installation-site-set@main).
-   Optionally map the page type to a URL suffix, see
    [URL of the PDF version](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/jweiland/jobboard:configuration-routing-pdf@main).

## Template {#template}

The PDF template is `EXT:jobboard/Resources/Private/Pdf/Jobboard/Detail.html`.
It is registered as `plugin.tx_jobboard.view.templateRootPaths.100`
for the PDF page type only. The layout of the PDF (margins, fonts, text
types) is configured with the TypoScript settings of EXT:pdfviewhelpers
in [`EXT:jobboard/Configuration/Sets/Pdf/setup.typoscript`](https://docs.typo3.org/m/typo3/reference-coreapi/13.4/en-us/ExtensionArchitecture/FileStructure/Configuration/Sets/Index.html#file-set-setup-typoscript). See the
