Conversations
=============

Conversations are stored per backend user. Other users cannot see them.

*  Click :guilabel:`New conversation` in the header to start fresh. The
   previous conversation remains in the list.
*  Open the conversation list to switch, rename, or delete conversations.
   Filter by :guilabel:`This page` or :guilabel:`All pages`.
*  The AI provider is fixed after the first answer. To use another provider,
   start a new conversation.
*  Conversations without activity are deleted after the retention period
   (default: 90 days).

Administrators can change the retention period, the conversation limits, and
which conversation opens automatically. See
:ref:`ask-ai-agent-feature-settings`.
