# Quick Configuration {#quick-configuration}

Two steps until you can translate your first label file. The extension is
free: no license key or license activation is needed.

## Step 1: Add an API key {#step-1-add-an-api-key}

Open **Admin Tools > Settings > Extension Configuration > ns_t3al**
and add the API key of at least one provider:

-   DeepL: [deeplApiKey](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/nitsan/ns-t3al:confval-confval-deeplapikey@main)
-   OpenAI: [openaiApiKey](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/nitsan/ns-t3al:confval-confval-openaiapikey@main)
-   Google Gemini: [geminiApiKey](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/nitsan/ns-t3al:confval-confval-geminiapikey@main)
-   Google Translate: [googleApiKey](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/nitsan/ns-t3al:confval-confval-googleapikey@main)

For Crowdin uploads also add [accessToken](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/nitsan/ns-t3al:confval-confval-accesstoken@main).
All settings are described in [Configuration](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/nitsan/ns-t3al:configuration@main).

## Step 2: Translate {#step-2-translate}

1. Open **Admin Tools > AI Localization** (on TYPO3 v14:
    **Administration > AI Localization**).
1. Select an extension, a language file and one or more target languages.
1. Choose the AI provider and click **Translate**.
1. Check the result and click **Save**.
