# Changelog {#changelog}

The full changelog is maintained in the repository:
[CHANGELOG.md](https://github.com/proudnerds-typo3/pn_backend_manual/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md).

Releases follow [Semantic Versioning](https://semver.org/). Only
`Major.Minor` versions are published as separate documentation branches,
because patch releases never introduce breaking changes or new features.

## 1.2.0 {#1-2-0}

-   [Search](https://docs.typo3.org/permalink/proudnerds/pn-backend-manual:full-view-search@1.2) highlights the words in the text, shows
    the number of results, and steps through them with the arrow buttons next
    to the field, `Enter` and `Shift` \+ `Enter`, or `↓`
    and `↑`; the counter shows the position, such as *3 of 12*
-   Words shorter than three characters are left out of the search, like in the
    search of the Page TSconfig and TypoScript modules
-   `composer.json` declares the version and `providesPackages`, so
    TYPO3 14.3 no longer reports `ext_emconf.php` as deprecated
-   The Extension Scanner no longer reports false positives
-   Fixed: the focus outline of the search field is no longer cut off on the
    left

-   `ext_emconf.php` with the category, state and constraints for the TER
-   This manual on docs.typo3.org; the README is now an introduction with links
    to it
-   Fixed: without the library `league/commonmark`, as in a classic mode
    installation from the TER, the widget and the full view show an error
    message instead of failing; the log names the missing library

First release: editor manuals in Markdown as dashboard widgets with a full
view, with the options `logo`, `numbered`, `contentsDepth` and
`printButton`, print or save as PDF, and English, Dutch and German labels.
