## 13.0.0 {#changelog-13-0-0}

-   \[RELEASE\] Compatibility with TYPO3 13.4 LTS, while TYPO3 12.4 LTS keeps
    working. PHP 8.1 - 8.5.
-   \[!!!\] Dropped the inheritance from "FrontendPluginAbstractPlugin",
    which has been removed in TYPO3 13. Extensions overriding the plugin
    class must no longer rely on the inherited "pi\_\*" API.
-   \[TASK\] Read page id, page record and rootline from the request
    attribute "frontend.page.information" instead of $GLOBALS\['TSFE'\],
    which is deprecated in TYPO3 13. Falls back to the frontend controller
    on TYPO3 12.
-   \[TASK\] Accept the request as third argument of "main()", as passed by
    ContentObjectRenderer::callUserFunction().
-   \[TASK\] Skip "addRootLineFields" on TYPO3 13, where the option has been
    removed and all pages columns are part of the rootline anyway.
-   \[TASK\] Added strict types and type declarations, hardened array access
    and dropped the reference assignment in the hook invocation.
-   Includes all changes of 12.0.1.

-   \[BUGFIX\] Restore compatibility with PHP 7.4 (12.0.0 failed with a parse
    error in ext_localconf.php on TYPO3 11 with PHP 7.4).
-   \[BUGFIX\] No PHP notices and warnings on PHP 8.x, same HTML escaping of
    the classes on all PHP versions.
-   \[BUGFIX\] addBackendLayoutClass = 0 also disables the backend layout class
    inherited from parent pages.
-   \[TASK\] Installable with Composer: package name svent/pageclasses,
    available on Packagist.
-   \[TASK\] Supported: TYPO3 11.5 LTS and 12.4 LTS with PHP 7.4 - 8.4, checked
