## What does it do? {#what-it-does}

Video VTT extends the file metadata of video files.
You can add text tracks and time-based data. (see [WebVTT_API](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/WebVTT_API))

Additionally, the extension extends the TYPO3 video functionality with poster images and more video controls
