    Given select field item list was not found.

The Issue
---------

This error happens when calling :php:`\TYPO3\CMS\Core\Utility\ExtensionManagementUtility::addTcaSelectItem()`
on an item that is not a valid select item or does not have an items array.

Solution
--------

My select item did not have an `items` array, adding an empty items array fixed it:
