Introduction¶
What does it do?¶
This extensions checks your typo3 installation on accessibility problems. It uses the W3C Validator and AChecker to check your installation.
Tutorial¶
Install the extension “accessibility_check”
Then you have to register at http://achecker.ca/checker/index.php
After logging in, go to “Profile”
Go to your extension configuration in the typo3 backend on another tab
Fill in the input fields with the following values:
Address of W3C Validator: http://validator.w3.org/check
Address of AChecker Validator: http://achecker.ca/checkacc.php
AChecker ID: Web Service ID from AChecker profile
AChecker Services: BITV1
Press “Update”
Switch to “Web” → “Page”
Press on an icon in front of the page title
There you find two extension icons
Check site (checks just the current page)
Check subtree (checks current page and all subpages)
The pages with errors will marked red
On the pages you find more informations about that error
