The Filelinks field is DAM

If you have installed DAM and CSS Multimedia extensions and the CSS
Filelinks extension doesn't work you should try to check this
checkbox. Because the CSS Multimedia change automatically the Media
field to DAM reference field if the DAM is installed and so the CSS
Filelinks need to work with this field differently. But it is
impossible in some version from Typo3 to check if this field is a DAM
reference or not(On FE return it the old TCA but on BE is the new TCA
in which the Media field is modified). If you check this checkbox but
you don't have installed DAM or CSS Multimedia this setting will be
ignored and the Media field will be processed as a normal field.

Default the extensions add to css the path to fileicons as
/typo3/gfx/fileicons/ or /t3lib/gfx/fileicons/. If you want to change
this e.g. to typo3/gfx/fileicons/ (without slash on beginning) you can
use this field. The only requirement is that in this directory must be
file “default.gif”.

2: comma-list of allowed extensions (no spaces between); if empty all

3: sorting: name, size, ext, date

4: reverse: Set to "r" if you want a reversed sorting

0.3.0 and higher. This is because until css\_filelinks version 0.2.0
was DAM usage hardcoded to this extension and after 0.2.0 all DAM
stuff was removed and the dam\_filelinks must use hooks. So by
css\_filelinks < 0.2.0 you must use dam\_filelinks < 0.3.0 and by
css\_filelinks >= 0.2.0 you must use dam\_filelinks >= 0.3.0.
