Requirements

The following Requirements must be met before installation:

  • TYPO3 CMS Version 6.2
  • jQuery Framework and jQuery Validation plugin

Caution

You must have jQuery Javascript Framework with jQuery-Validation Plugin installed globally to support all client-side validation features of Datec Contact.

Installation

  1. Download and install the extension via the Extension manager (extKey: datec_contact).
  2. Create system folders for contacts, contact messages and guestbook entries (one each is recommended).
  3. Check the chapter "Configuration" of this document for neccesary configuration options.
  4. Add the main plugin to your site as described below.

Add plugin

  1. Create a new content element and choose: “Plug-Ins” -> “General Plug-In”

  1. Change to the tab “Plug-In” and choose “Datec Contact/Guestbook”:

  1. Choose the desired view
  2. Save the contant elemend and done.
