Target group: Editors and Users

Editors - Creating a Position

The positions, or occupations, encompass all types of jobs relevant for your jobmarket and should be created right after installation. When creating jobentries these positions will be aviable for selection.

  • Name: Simply enter a name.

Editors - Creating a Qualification

You will need records of this type only if you want to use the field "Qualifications" (qualifications). Qualifications are to be understood as academic or business degrees. Create these if your users often have to enter similar degrees or certificates.

  • Name: Simply enter a name.

Editors - Creating a Facility Type

You will need records of this type only if you want to use the field 'Facility Type' (facilityType). Facility types are to be understood as work environments. Create these if your users have to enter specific types of facilities, e.g. subsidiary, office, outdoor job, ....

  • Name: Simply enter a name.

Editors - Creating a Worktime Type

You will need records of this type only if you want to use the field 'Wortime Type' (wortimeType). Worktime types are to be understood as possible working hours regulations. Create these if your users often have to enter similar types of working hours, e.g. part-time, full-time, shift work, flexible, ...

  • Name: Simply enter a name
  • Shorthand Name: Enter a shorthand name for neater display.

Editors - Editing/Viewing a Jobentry

Jobentries are normally just to be created via the frontend form, users may create them as job offer or job request. As Editor you may want to inspect these records to view all properties, or change access options for a jobentry.

  • hidden: hide/show this jobentry.
  • exportable: The user has agreed that this record may be published in other media.
  • Begin from: The job is aviable from this date => NOT publication period
  • Limited to: The job is valid to this date => NOT publication period
  • Jobtype: Either offer or request.
  • Title: Title of the jobentry.
  • Information: Details for this jobentry.
  • Positions: One or more positions this jobentry is aimed at.
  • Qualifications: One or more qualifications this jobentry involves.
  • Contact: Name of the contact person.
  • Facility: Name of the company (only job offers).
  • Facility Type: Type of the company (only job offers).
  • Worktime Type: Work hour definition for this jobentry.
  • Workarea: List of zipcodes, area of work places. (only job requests)
  • Street/Zipcode/city: Address of the creator.
  • Phone/Mobile/Fax: Contact to the creator.
  • E-Mail Adresse: Contact to the creator, validated, required by user to edit this jobentry.
  • Passwort: required by user to edit this jobentry.

Editing a Jobentry.

  • Date from: Start of publishing, normally the creation date.
  • Date to: End of publisching, by default start date plus 14 days. => This period is configurable, please see section "Configuration Reference" of this document.

The visibility of the jobentry may be controlled more detailed, please see for that the following point in this section.

User - Searching for Jobentries

The search for jobentries is the inital view, it shows a search formular as well as the search results. The search can be filtered by job type, positions and zipcode area. When seachring for zipcode area, the properties "Zipcode" and "Workarea" are respected. The search results are displayed in table view with the most important informations and split into browsable pages. Via the link "Details" a single view of the jobentry can be opened. The last two columns are only aviable for logged-in backend users, which can also see hidden jobentries. Via the link "hide/show" the visibility (hidden) of the jobentry can be switched.

User - Creation a Jobentry

A new jobentry is created via the button "New Jobentry" beneath the initial search form. On the following form, various input fields are aviable. To look out of is, that changing the jobtype will enbale/disable specific fields. All entries will be validated before sending.

  • Jobtype: Either offer or request.
  • Positions: One or more positions this jobentry is aimed at.
  • Begin from: The job is aviable from this date => NOT publication period
  • Limited to: The job is valid to this date => NOT publication period
  • Title: Title of the jobentry.
  • Facility: Name of the company (only job offers).
  • Facility Type: Type of the company (only job offers).
  • Workarea: List of zipcodes, area of work places. (only job requests)
  • Worktime Type: Work hour definition for this jobentry.
  • Information: Details for this jobentry.
  • Contact: Name of the contact person.
  • Street/Zipcode/city: Your address.
  • Phone/Mobile/Fax: Contact to you.
  • Qualifications: One or more qualifications this jobentry involves.
  • exportierbar: Diese Stellenanzeige darf in in weitere Medien kopiert werden.
  • Usage agreement: A new page is linked here, the provider of the jobmarket wants you to read and accept this.
  • E-Mail Adresse: Contact to you, validated, you need this to edit this jobentry.
  • Passwort: You need this to edit this jobentry.

Tip

These access credentials are saved individually with the jobentry, it is NOT recommended to use your homepage login information.

Depending of the configurations made by the jobmarket provider, you may see more or less form fields.

User - Singleview/Editing a Jobentry

To open a jobentry in single view, follow the link "Details" in the search result listing.

All aviable, non-empty properties of the jobentry will be shown. The is precided by the type "job request"/"job offer" of the jobentry. For valid addresses it is tried to display a Google map, if this isn't succesfull a small error message is displayed.

In the input fields below, the password can be entered to edit the jobentry. Logged-in backend users don't need login information to edit all jobentries. In the form for editing all field as in the creation are aviable, except the jobtype, which cannot be changed afterwards. Also the user might delete the jobentry here.

To open the contact form, follow the link "contact creator".

The user can, even with hidden e-mail addresses, contact the creator of the jobentry.
