Introduction

What should it do?

  • “Frontend User Frontend Editing” is supposed to enable administrators to set up frontend editing for frontend users for any TYPO3 extension.
  • This allows website visitors to publish their own events, news or advertisements.
  • The front-end editing is set up with TypoScript, the input form with Powermail.
  • Technology and code already exist: as plugin 6 (front-end editing plug-in) of the TYPO3 browser (EXT:browser). The TYPO3-Browser is compatible with TYPO3 6.2, 7.6 and 8.7. Therefore, the “Frontend User Frontend Editing” can already be tested (see link at the bottom).
  • Die Netzmacher integrate the plugin into “Frontend User Frontend Editing” and make it compatible for TYPO3 9.5

What does it do?

Currently “Frontend User Frontend Editing” is an empty shell.
