Introduction

What does it do?

The video player extension provides a backend interface for e.g. TYPO3 editors. With this extension they can easily add video content in different formats to any page of a TYPO3 instance.

The wide range of settings allows the TYPO3 editor to customize the output of the video player at the frontend.

Features and settings:

  • Can play web video files in different formats for e.g. mp4, web or ogg/ogv.
  • The TYPO3 editor can add a polster before video is starting.
  • At the moment you can choose between three different skins via backend.
  • In the tab Controls you have many options to show or hide specific controls.

This video player extension is based on the flowplayer JS library.

Compatibility

  • PHP in version 5.4 or higher
  • TYPO3 CMS 6.2 LTS in verion 6.2.x
  • Exbase & Fluid latest version
