Introduction

What does it do?

This extension tryes to collect some data about the usage of all installed extensions.

The goal is to give you a clue if you may uninstall/delete one or more extensions without breaking the output of your website.

But be aware: There are many ways of usage of an extension and a can not primis, that this extension handles all of them. So maybe in the list an extension looks like it could be uninstalled/deleted, but it is actually used by your website.

Screenshots

The output of the backend module:

img-3 Users manual ------------

The most things should be self-explaining.

The extensions that depends or use one are clickable and let you jump to their status.

If you stop with the mouse on the number an extension is included manually in template, the uid and title of the template(s) is displayed.

Administration

This extension lists all localy installed extensions.

Some of them look like they are not used by your website, but actually the are important for you.If you don't want to see these extension(s) in the list go to the settings of jh_extstatus in the extensionmanager and add them to the blacklist.

Configuration

There is no confuguration available, just the one mentioned in “Administration”

Known problems

There are many ways of usage for an extension. I try to handle as many as possible. But if you know one ore more ways I don't handle, just contact me (Jonathan Heilmann <mail@jonathan-heilmann.de>).

To-Do list

  • Handle extensions that provide a scheduler-task.
  • List the number of records within database-tables of extension
  • Does it work if workspaces are used?
