DEPRECATION WARNING

This documentation is not using the current rendering mechanism and will be deleted by December 31st, 2020. The extension maintainer should switch to the new system. Details on how to use the rendering mechanism can be found here.

Examples

Multi level caching

You can use the Caching ViewHelper multiple times in your template, but notice that lifetime differences can also return a cached result.

<c:cache hash="magecache-hash" lifetime="30">
    Cached content!
    <c:cache hash="second-cache" lifetime="5">
        This is a second 'cached' element :)
    </c:cache>
</c:cache>

Location-independent caching

Setting the cache:

<c:cache hash="magecache-hash" lifetime="30" silent="1">
    <strong>THIS IS THE CACHED CONTENT</strong>
</c:cache>

Getting the cache:

<c:cache.get hash="magecache-hash" />
