What does it do?

The About WEC extension is a simple backend module designed to provide
some basic information to users of the Web-Empowered Church Starter
Package. This extension adds two links to the Help module within the
backend.

The first link, About WEC, provides basic information about the Web-
Empowered Church ministry and the WEC Starter Package, which is a
TYPO3 package with extensions, page structure, and templates pre-
configured.

In addition to these descriptions, the About WEC page also provides
version information for the currently running WEC Starter Package.
This version information may be useful for support purposes at a later
date.

The second link, Jesus, directs the user to

<http://www.webempoweredchurch.org/Jesus>`_ where they can find out
more about the beliefs that WEC is based on.

What does it not do?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

There are a lot of things the About WEC extension does not do! The
actual functionality of this extension is very limited; it is only
used to provide textual information about the WEC ministry and to
track internal version numbers. You are free to install this on your
site if you'd like, but for uses outside the WEC Starter Package,
there's not a lot of functionality to be gained by installing the
extension.

What is the Web-Empowered Church?

The Web-Empowered Church (WEC) is a ministry of Christian Technology
Ministries International ( `www.CTMIinc.org

apply WEB technology to EMPOWER the worldwide CHURCH for ministry.

WEC will help churches around the world expand evangelism,
