Introduction

What does it do?

This extension creates (and optionally uploads) the necessary text file used to export your product data to Google's product search “Froogle”.

Users manual

Just click on “Froogle” under the “Web” module! You have the possibility to either create the text file or create it and upload it directly.

Adminstration

Prerequisites

  • As this extension relies on the shop extension “tt_products” you have to install and configure this extension first.
  • To upload data to Froogle you have to create a merchant account with Froogle.
  • Configure the settings for the feed file:Seperator: tField content enclosed in quotation marks: yes
  • If your products are stored in SysFolders you have to create a detail page containing the tt_products plugin with code “SINGLE”. The plugin's startingpoint must include all sysfolders with products!

Configuration

You have to configure only two parameters (Extension Manager -> choose the “Froogle” extension”):

  • URLThe shop's URL including http://
  • File nameThe name for the feed file as configured in the Froogle merchant center

If your products are stored in SysFolders you must configure the PID of yor detail page.

If you want to use the upload function you have to configure the FTP data too.

If you have some articles without a picture you can fill the field for the default picture.
