What does it do?¶

Connectar believes Augmented Reality should be an added channel in the multi-channel environment. By connecting your existing (web)systems to AR platforms we enable you to start creating AR-content today, without extra knowledge or systems.

This extension enables you to publish your AR-content to connectar from within TYPO3. To do this you need an account at connectar.com. Sign up now, it's free!

After installation all pages, content element and tt_news-items (if you use the extension tt_news) will have an extra tab in the TYPO3 backend, named “connectar”. This is were you can link your content to the augmented reality channel.

Who is connectar?¶

Connectar is Zig Websoftware's initiative. Based in The Netherlands Zig Websoftware develops web and App-solutions for business-to- business-to-consumer markets varying from complex portals to mobile solutions and has over 10 years experience in creating and implementing innovative IT solutions.

In the Content Management cycle we have seen a lot of changes relating to targetgroups and used channels. The modern Communication specialist has to be able to tell a story over different channels with different forms of interaction. AR is an added channel to this multi-channel environment.
