Installation 

Requirements 

  • TYPO3 12.4 LTS, 13.4 LTS or 14 ( typo3/cms-core , typo3/cms-backend , typo3/cms-extbase , typo3/cms-fluid )
  • PHP with the fileinfo extension (content-vs-extension detection)
  • ImageMagick or GraphicsMagick configured in $GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['GFX'] (standard TYPO3 image processing setup) for MIME fix conversion, image resizing and report thumbnails
  • PHP imagick extension, optional: only needed to fix misnamed Photoshop (.psd) files, since GraphicsMagick has no PSD decoder
  • typo3/cms-dashboard , optional: only needed for the dashboard widgets (they are not registered without it)

Installation with Composer 

composer require anubit/filefix
vendor/bin/typo3 extension:setup -e filefix
vendor/bin/typo3 cache:flush

extension:setup creates the database tables of the extension ( tx_filefix_quarantine , tx_filefix_log ).

Installation without Composer 

Install the extension with the Extension Manager from the TYPO3 Extension Repository (TER) and update the database schema in Admin Tools > Maintenance > Analyze Database Structure.
