About gurado
gurado is a cloud-based gift voucher management solution for businesses selling and redeeming gift vouchers online and at physical locations.
The TYPO3 extension connects your website to an existing gurado voucher shop using a Storecode. TYPO3 does not need its own voucher database, checkout or separate payment integration.
How gift vouchers work
- A customer orders a gift voucher through the WebConnect shop on your TYPO3 website.
- gurado issues and manages the voucher through the gurado platform.
- Vouchers can be redeemed using the gurado webapp, supported iOS and Android redemption apps, or compatible point-of-sale integrations where configured.
- The gurado platform provides transaction and outstanding-value reporting to help your accounting department reconcile voucher activity.
Free plan: no subscription required
You can start selling vouchers and integrate WebConnect with TYPO3 using gurado's Free plan, without a paid subscription:
- Accept invoice/bank transfer payment directly to your own bank account.
- Sell digital gift vouchers through your online shop.
- Redeem vouchers in-store using supported gurado redemption methods.
- Manage issued vouchers and view available voucher reporting.
- Use up to 10 redemptions in a 30-day period.
The redemption limit is important when evaluating the Free plan. Confirm the precise reset/rolling-period behavior in your gurado account before describing the allowance as a calendar-month or rolling-window reset.
Paid plans: automation and physical gift cards
Depending on the selected paid gurado plan, businesses can:
- Use automated payment integrations such as PayPal, Stripe, Worldline, Nexi, hobex and Mollie, and other supported payment providers.
- Access paid-plan redemption allowances and functionality.
- Offer physical gift cards ordered online, with production and delivery handled by gurado for the buyer or recipient.
Payment processing fees and physical card, print and shipping costs may apply. Availability depends on the selected plan, region and connected provider.
Who is it for?
