Redirect loop aborted.¶
#1380581244: Redirect loop aborted. If this message is shown again after a reload, your setup is so weird that the install tool is unable to handle it. Please make sure to remove the “install[redirectCount]” parameter from your request or restart the install tool from the backend navigation.
The error happened after an upgrade of TYPO3 6.2 via 7.6 to 8.7. The
reason was wrong entries in
\TYPO3\CMS\Core\Configuration\ConfigurationManager::setLocalConfigurationValueByPath('DB/database', 'DBNAME'); \TYPO3\CMS\Core\Configuration\ConfigurationManager::setLocalConfigurationValueByPath('DB/username', 'USERNAME'); \TYPO3\CMS\Core\Configuration\ConfigurationManager::setLocalConfigurationValueByPath('DB/password', 'PASSWORD');
After changing the entries to the following text, everything worked as expected.
$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['DB']['Connections']['Default']['dbname'] = 'DBNAME'; $GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['DB']['Connections']['Default']['password'] = 'USERNAME'; $GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['DB']['Connections']['Default']['user'] = 'PASSWORD';
If the error appears on 7.6, check if the port is set.
