Introduction¶
What does it do?¶
Previsualisation of alternative language contents in Typo3.5 backend doesn't work. This extension fixes the bug and enables previsualisation with web_layout module. Don't know if it works for versions >=Typo3.6.

Users manual¶
To preview contents from an alternative language page in backend (you must have existing alternative language pages and contents) :
- Click on “Web > page” module :
- Select the page you want to preview :
- Select submodule “Columns” or “Languages in the right frame :
- Select the language you want to preview in the right frame :
- Click on the magnifying glass icon on top of right frame :
A
new window is opened in the selected language.
Configuration¶
You just have to install the extension. No configuration needed.
Just be aware that this extension extends framework classes “mediumDoc” (from file typo3/template.php) and “SC_db_layout” (from file typo3/db_layout.php). If any of your installed extensions already extends one of the classes you will have troubles.
Don't know if it works for versions >=Typo3.6.
