Introduction¶
What does it do?¶
This extension provides you the jquery galleries galleryview 2.0 and galleria 1.0b. The extensions uses the lib/div MVC framework. You can easily select different controllers for different galleries via flexform. Also you can easily extend the extension by defining your own controllers.
Whats's new¶
Now it's possible to use multiple instances of the plugin on one page. A few more minor changes were made. The screenshots in the manual are fixed now.
More Features¶
In the initial release its only possible to load images from a directory. If you want to load images from a database table you have to define it for your own in the model and controller. There are always methods away and a sample chain how to request them in the galleryview controller.
Screenshots¶
Abbildung 1: galleryview 2.0 (jquery)
- shows you the jquery galleryview 2.0.
Abbildung 2: galleria 1.0b (jquery)
- shows you the jquery galleria 1.0b. I don't know if this script is very useful, because it seems that you only show up to nine images! I have packed this script besides the galleryview 2.0 only to show you the easy ability to extend the extension by additional controllers.
shows you the flexform configuration in the backend. You have to self define the path to the directory of the images. Don't forget the backslash at the end!
I've tried to use the rgfolderselector extension but it seems that there are some problems in combination. Each time I configure the extension in the flexform the structure will be damaged after i've loaded bitsgallery. Maybe I found the error in a second of silence ;-)
Installation¶
Getting started is really easy... Just import and install the extension via the Extension Manager, enable the static template “bitsgallery” in your main TS-Template and everything is ready. The Extension depends on the lib/div framework.
Configuration¶
Configure it via flexform. More information will coming soon.
If you want to put more then one instance of the plugin on one page, you have to define a unique CSS selector for the gallery and also an unique array key for the include Header Data. You can use individual terms for both, you only have to watch that they are unique.
The configuration for both is done via flexform. You only have to fill the fields “Arraykey für zusätzlichen header include” and “CSS ID Selector for Gallery”.
