Introduction

What does it do?

This simple +ext provides a way to render virtually an unlimited number of different cTypes (content types) each for column.

If you need to get text content in more than one column, consider to visit the repository and fetch other +ext like fx_2columns.

This +ext is a good choice for small pieces of text, I.e. if you need to put in the first column some text, in the second a content with text and images, third with login box, fourth with text and images and so on.

Screenshots

here there is some content rearranged in 4 columns. As you can see, the first is text, second text w/images, etc.

Usage

Place the content in you page, in the desired column then select the preferred item from Type palette as shown here:

img-2

Remember this:

the FIRST content should be set as float-first from the menu Frame; default values for width and height are respectively: 120 and 200.

the SECOND content must to be set as float-middle ; next content must be set ad float-middle

the LAST content must to be set as float-last, this closes the flow.

Note:

  • All the contents should be set with the same height.
  • You can vary the width accordiing to your page-dimension
  • Styles used are set through typoscript and can be overrided
  • if you need to override the style, have a look of the styles yet loaded and create a new set or use the field CSS override giving the name of the style to apply.
