What does it do?¶
This extension is used only with log_analyzer and is used for displaying a table of differences between old and new field values.
Requirements¶
Extension log_analyzer
Multiple FieldsAdminstration¶
Target group: Administrators
Installing difference_viewer extension¶
Select “Ext Manager” from TYPO3 Backend “Tools” section
In the drop-down “Menu” choose “Import extensions”
Search for “difference_viewer”
Download and install.
Create a new page for the difference viewer plug-in
Create a new content element of type Plugin
Select Difference Viewer as the plugin
Configure the Log Analyzer with the page UID of this new page

1. Use of Log Analyzer Backend aggregator to see list of changes for which difference views are available.
2. Click in column “Difference” on “see difference” of desired change to review.
3. A new window will open to the Difference Viewer on the front-end on new page
