Introduction¶

What does it do?¶

This extension provides the German date format for the user's birth date field in the sr_feuser_register extension (which had hardcoded the date format YYYY-mm-d). The German date format will be changed globally for all sites.

This extension is tested to work with TYPO3 4.0.

Tutorial: Installing and using this extension¶

Install and configure the sr_feuser_register extension, version 2.5.6 or higher.

Install this extension.

If you want to use the changed German labels and error messages for the birth date field, edit your TS template and add “German date format” under “add static (from extensions)”.

Known problems¶

The date format for sr_feuser_register currently can only be changed globally. Currently, it is not supported to only enable this for certain sites or depending on the selected front-end language.
