Introduction¶
What does it do?¶
This extension updates the content that gets indexed using indexedsearch_ttnews_crawler.
By installing this extension, the content of the tt_news entry will be rendered as it is on the frontend and then pushed back to indexedsearch.
It enables you to have some content, saved in the row “bodytext” of your news-item and in addition have something that's added to the content by a hook in tt_news.
One example for this usage is the extension rgnewsce.

No screenshots necessary since it doesn't add anything visually.

There's nothing this extension adds where a user could interact.
Administration¶
Just don't forget to add the column “bodytext” to the list of fields in your Indexer Configuration. This extension replaces the content of this column by it's on FE displayed text.
