Introduction¶
What does it do?¶
For some reason the clipboard of TemplaVoila is a system on it's own. You can't copy or cut a content element in the list or the traditional page module and the insert it in the TemplaVoila page module.
This extensions makes an end with this incompatibility. It inserts a standard clipboard into the TV page module and makes it interoperable with the default clipboard on the list module and the Clickmenu-Items for copy & paste in the traditional page module.
Users manual¶
When the extension is installed you have a new check box in the bottom of you TV page module called “Show clipboard”. When you check it the clipboard will show up. You can then (or even without showing the clipboard) copy and paste elements like you would do it normally.
It's as simply as it should be.
References¶
As TemplaVoila works mainly with references to real content elements the clipboard has a new function. “Insert reference”. When you insert a reference in the TV page module it will get inserted as usual in TV. But when you insert a reference in the default page module or the list module (yes, you can do this). Then an “Insert records” content element is created. This is also some kind of reference.
To switch on the clipboard how you would like to paste a record just click the second icon on the clipboard which you can normally use for switching between Copy and Cut mode ... Now it alternates between three modes: Copy, Cut and Reference (Blue).
Configuration¶
When the extension get's installed you have one possible option to select. Whether you would allow to show the clipboard in the TV page module. When this is disabled it will never get shown.
Known problems¶
There may be some problems or unexpected behaviour with FCE's which contain Ces again. (FCE Container elements). This is not tested.
