Introduction

What does it do?

  • An integration of Streamio.com video service into TYPO3. A backendmodule for login to streamio and then a frontend part to search and show the different videos.
  • !IMPORTANT! The server needs CURL installed for being compatible with the extension.

Streamio.com
  • First of all an account must be created on streamio.com and when this is done. You need to find you API crendentials fr using the API. This is found under "ACCOUNT SETTINGS" and "API" in the Streamio service.
  • img-3 Remember this crendentials for this will be used in TYPO3.

  • Install the extension from TER and in the in Extension Manager for the plugin the following options is available.

  • The next step is to create a Streamio Api record and fill in the credentials found for the streamio API. Just match “User name” with “Username” and “Password” with “Password”.
  • Then include the TSConfig for the plugin.
  • The last but not least install the extension on a page or pages.

To-Do list

  • The backendmodule is an include of the streamio.com url for visual integration. A better solution is to be developed in the coming versions.
  • A better search and linking for a single video is to be developed.
