Users Manual

Adding the plugin to the frontend

If you want to add the news list plugin to a page in your frontend, simply activate the page module and navigate to the page the list should be shown at. Then click the add button to create a new content element. Choose the News List plugin from the plugins list.

You may define a heading, but that is not neccessary. More important are the options you need to set under "Plugin".

The field Parent page defines the page of which the child pages are listed. If you select no page, the child pages of the current page will be listed.

You can define how many articles you want to be displayed per page. 0 disables pagination and lists all articles. If not specified, the default value is used.

You can also stop the plugin to display the pagination. Note that the plugin still only displays as many articles as you defined above, but the user is not given the opportunity to navigate to older articles.
