Introduction¶
What does it do?¶
- Makes content elements drag'n dropable. As of version 0.0.9 it supports custom beLayouts as well.

Note: Do not use in Workspace environment!
Compatibility¶
This version of tv_dragndrop requires Templavoila 1.4.1.It has been tested on TYPO3 4.2.10 and 4.3.0 but will likely work with other versions.

Users manual¶
- Documentation of how to use the extension, how it works, how to apply it if it's a website plugin. A user manual.
- Language should be non-technical, explaining, using small examples.
- Examples: For the "News" plugin this would be a manual showing how to create the news-items, explaining the options etc.
- Target group: Users, Administrators or Developers in that priority. Depends on the extension.
Installation¶
Just download and install the extension.
Usage¶
Move over to the page module and enjoy drag and dropping ;)
Make sure you checked the “show hidden element” checkbox. Otherwise you'll expirience strange effects when moving arround content elements with hidden elements in between.
Do not use in workspace environment!.
Known problems¶
Clipboard does not get updated when moving records arround.
- Not 100% cross browser tested.
- “Display hidden elements” needs to be enabled.
- Does not work in workspace environment.
To-Do list¶
- Auto disable in workspace environment.
- Workarround the “display hidden elements” - issue.
- Further testing
- Move over to ExtJS.
