Introduction¶
What does it do?¶
- This extension replaces the default flash player with the JW Player in the TYPO3 media element.
- The JW Player isn't included in the TER version. Please use UPDATE! function of the extension to download it,or download the full version of this extension from http://www.1drop.de/full- service/downloads.html
Users manual¶
- Use the “Media” element and choose the Render Type “Shockwave Flash Browser Plugin”.
- On Render Type “Auto” it would be used automatically with 3g2, 2gp, f4v, flv, mov, mp4, aac, m4a or mp3 files.
- For http pseudo streaming, file metadata have to be at the beginning. For mp4 files you can move the metadata with MP4Box -isma file.mp4
Administration¶
Only GPL licensed content is allowed in the TER.
The license of JW Player isn't compatible to the GPL. You have to copy it to res/player.swf or use the “UPDATE!” function to download it.
