Basic search¶
The extension searches in real time the tt_address Database. The indicator to the right of the 'search'-field shows any activity regarding searches on the server.
By clicking on any row in the search-results below a text area is appears that shows all saved contact information frown the tt_address table. You can select any field and copy it's content. By clicking on a phone number the contact will be called on Skype if this option is selected in the configuration (switched off by default)
Advanced search¶
Below the 'TYPO3 Contact Search'-Field you can filter your searches by clicking 'Advanced'.
- The 'Advanced'-search can be extended by checking the '+'-Button.
- The first Pull-Down-Menu lets you specify the fields to look in (e.g. First Name, Company, Phone)
- The second Pull-Down-Menu gives you options to include or exclude your search string
Configuration¶
The Installation is pretty easy:
- Download both extensions: the Typo3 and the Firefox add-on
- Install the Typo3 extension (t3x)
- Install the Firefox Add-on (xpi)
4. After having installed the Firefox Add-on go to 'Tools -> Add-ons' and click 'Options'
- Set the TYPO3 URL, Backend User and Password
