Introduction¶
What does it do?¶
This extension is an example of using the htmlArea RTE in a frontend extension. It is offered as an example for extension developers.
The example hooks on Udo von Eynern's Modern Guestbook (ve_guestbook) so that guestbook entries may be edited with the htmlArea RTE (rtehtmlarea) both in the front end and in back end.
Requirements¶
This extension requires TYPO3 4.5+ and PHP 5.2+.
This extension requires version 2.12.0+ of the Modern Guestbook (ve_guestbook).
Configuration¶
Extension installation¶
Install the extension with the extension manager.
Both the Modern Guestbook (ve_guestbook) and the htmlArea RTE (rtehtmlarea) are required for this extension to be installed.
HTML template¶
You will need to adapt your html template. See the example template included with the extension.
