Introduction

What does it do?

This is a collection of tango-based replacement-icons for typo3. If you don't know tango, I suggest you to visit http://tango.freedesktop.org/Tango_Desktop_Project . In short: it is a desktop-skinning project, providing a modern look and feel, while trying to be free of patent and licensing hurdles. The majority of the icons I provide are custom extrapolations of existing tango-icons, because tango obviously does not have special icons for all of the typo3-actions.

Screenshots

Um, there are just too much icons to display them each with purpose, just install the extension and look at the thumbs of it's sub-folders.

Users manual

Ask your administrator to install it for you and enjoy the changed view. Please try not to be too irritated, if you still find some of the old/ugly icons around, they're either there because of a current limitation, or because of bugs. We're working on improving on that situation.

Adminstration

Just install and load the extension, it tries to reconfigure as much icons as possible. Some of the icons can't be replaced because of bugs and miss-spellings in the core and extensions, but we're working on fixing this.

Configuration

None nessessary.

Known problems

I mentioned this already: the skinning of typo3 is still a bit in pubic state, not all icons are easily replaceable, and the complete FE-econs miss a skinning solution all together. We're going to improve on the situation and try to mature everyhing with the 4.3 release.

To-Do list

There are still icons missing, not so much from typo3-core but from a whole bunch of popular extensions.
