Introduction¶
What does it do?¶
This extension adds option to tt_news extension to show most rated news ordered by rating value (descending) and with a minimum rating value configured.

Extension output looks the same as typical for tt_news.
Users manual¶
After inserting tt_news plugin, select MOST RATED as mode in plugin configuration. If using from TypoScript, use tx_ttnewsmostrated_1 as code. Note that sorting field and mode has no effect when using MOST RATED mode.
Administration¶
Two steps must be made before extension can be used.
Installation¶
During extension installation “UPDATE!” option should be chosen in Extension Manager function select box:
This will make initial update of news records as required by extension.
Add TS template¶
When extension is installed, add “Most rated news” to main TypoScript template of the web site. Next, go to constant editor, select TX_TTNEWSMOSTRATED category and edit minimum rating value (floating number).
