Introduction¶
What does it do?¶
Simpleviewer is a image viewer based on flash. It renders a configurable amount of thumbnails and a detail view. It can also operate in full screen mode.
You have to download and install the simpleViewer flash package manually from the simpleViewer homepage. See section installation for details.

All you have to do as an user is to insert a gallery element on your page and select the appropiate theme.
Installation¶
Step 1: Install the extension.¶
Download ans install the extension yag_theme_simpleviewer from TER.
Step 2: Upload the simpleViewer package to your server¶
Because it is not allowed to redistribute the simpleViewer package within this theme, you have to download it manually from the simpleViewer website and upload it to your server.
Download the simpleViewer .zip package from http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/ extract it and upload the files to your server – eg to the directory “fileadmin/simpleViewer”. The directory tree then should look like this:
If you want to install the package in an other directory, you have to set the path to this directory in the extension settings in the extension manager:
Administration¶
Inserting static templates¶
After installing the extension, you have to include the static template on the page, where you want to use the themes.
Configuration¶
All parameters of simpleViewer can be set via constant editor or typoscript. They are named like the javscript properties.
